1. Being a follower of Jesus means taking up a cross daily for the sake of the Kingdom. This means that sometimes we must be willing to endure unpleasant or even downright painful situations as an expression of love for God and people. What cross do you feel you’ve been tasked with carrying; is it a relationship, a job, or a medical diagnosis? What have you learned throughout the experience?
2. God has a calling for us all, an invitation to join His work in a way specific to us. But sometimes, we don’t answer the call. Maybe we think He’s asking too much of us or asking something that we believe is beneath our knowledge and skill level. What barriers do you think prevent us from accepting God's calling?
