- Speaking in tongues is one of the pieces of evidence that points to us getting baptized in the Holy Spirit, but it’s not the only one. What evidence exists in your life that shows you are a part of the Body of Christ?
- Tongues are a prayer language we can use to communicate with God in the spirit, allowing us to speak mysteries about things unknown to our flesh. On a scale from 1 – 10, how healthy is your prayer life? What, if anything, could you do to improve it?
- Tongues are a gift that can contribute to an impactful prayer life and edifies the speaker. But there are several other spiritual gifts mentioned in 1 Corinthians 12 (verses 8 – 10, 28 – 30) that a Christian could gain through the Holy Spirit. Which gift mentioned in this chapter do you use the most? Take a moment to pray and meditate. Which one is God calling you to use more?
