What does the Bible say about...? Part 3

Updated: Aug 2

Walk in Expediency

  1. In 1 Corinthians 6:12, the Apostle Paul says that everything is lawful, but not everything is helpful. Some things can bring us under bondage, impacting our relationship with God. Or, as Matthew 6:24 says, “no man can serve two masters.” What is something in your life that you currently do that’s lawful for you (maybe it’s something you put into your bodies or how you spend your money), but can bring you under bondage (addiction or debt)? What are you doing to prevent yourself from serving a master other than God

  2. In every decision we make, we should consider whether or not it’s profitable to our relationships, testimony, or ministry. What is something you have given up for the sake of loving your neighbor or guarding your ministry?

  3. We Christians often struggle with quarreling over issues that aren’t central to the Gospel. What is an issue that you find yourself arguing over with other Christians?
