"The Healing Benefit of God's Salvation"

Updated: Jul 15

  1. When Jesus came to offer salvation, He thought about our well-being holistically. While He obviously cares about our spiritual health, He also cares about our emotional and physical health. Which area are you struggling with the most right now? What resources are you aware of to help your development in that area? Are there other resources we (IMPACT) can help connect you to?

  2. While we know and believe God can heal us miraculously, there is a part we play in our individual health journeys. With discipline and bodily submission, we can prevent avoidable health issues. What is a habit you have that works against your ability to be as healthy as you can be? What is one smaller, healthier habit you can do that will help you begin moving away from the unhealthy habit?

  3. There are several scriptures in the Bible that point to the benefits that come with accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior (Psalm 103:1-5, Isaiah 53:3-5, to name a few). Fortunately, our Savior is familiar with the physical pains that we experience, and He can sympathize with our struggle. What is a scripture you can focus on to help keep this truth in front of you? Take this week to begin the practice of scripture meditation using that scripture, and journal as you see what God will do!

Sermon Quotes:
