1) When we spend too much time thinking about the past that it prevents us from moving toward what God has for us. This doesn't just impact the future but the present. Thinking about yesterday’s failures, successes, hurts, or pleasures can steal time away from us. Keeping us from fulfilling God’s purpose for our lives. What past memories of yours are you allowing to steal time from you? What are some things you could do to do a better job of neglecting those memories?
2) We’ve all heard the saying, “time heals all wounds,” but there are other steps we can take to help with that process. Pastor Randy mentioned scripture & meditation, quiet time, organization, and our weaknesses as things we could embrace to help heal some of the wounds we’ve accumulated over the years. Which one could you do a better job of embracing?
3) God can do amazing things to redeem the time we’ve lost, but we can't just sit idly by and hope He gets to work. He redeems our time once we start moving toward what He has called us to. When He starts to move, we need to be willing to welcome what He's doing. He may not do something as big as stopping the sun as he did for Joshua, but He wants to do something big in our lives. What is a battle you're fighting that you need to welcome a move from God?
