"Jesus is in the House"

  1. It is unavoidable that there will be times in our lives when we get knocked down. From there, we must decide to stay down and accept defeat or get back up and take the fight to our adversary. Getting knocked down isn’t always a bad thing. It allows us to take a breath and review past decisions, then reevaluate future plans. Can you share a time when you got knocked down (metaphorically speaking)? How did you respond?

  2. In Mark 2:3, we see the paralyzed man receiving help from his friends, putting him in the position to receive a miraculous healing from Jesus. The takeaway is that there are times we need strong friends to help get us to where we need to go. Who are four people in your life who you can trust to carry you when you’re too weak? What particular strengths does each one have that help you during challenges?

  3. Everybody needs a miracle moment, a point in time when things look bleak, we’ve exhausted everything we know to do, our friends have done all that’s in their strength, and it’s on God to do what only He can do. Afterward, God doesn’t want us to simply go about our business. God performs miracles not just for our benefit but for the benefit of others also. What miracle moment has happened in your life recently? How did you leverage that miracle to bless others?
