"The Church is a Place of Revelation"

1. Sometimes, God exercises revelation power by revealing Himself through difficult circumstances. Maybe He allows you to lose a loved one so you can experience God the Comforter or experience a season of lack so you can experience God the Provider. What are some of the events happening in your life right now? How has God revealed Himself to you through them?

2. As we get to know God better, we get more light on the path laid out for us. God loves and has a plan for each of us, and He reveals what that plan is step by step. There are some things that only He knows about us but He wants to use different situations to make us aware of those things also. What are some things God has revealed about you lately? How can you use this new insight to advance His Kingdom?

3. God’s timing works very differently than how we often expect it to come. Occasionally, He may bless us before we thought it would come, but it usually comes well after we wish it would. Matthew 6:33 tells us to “seek first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you.” That means if we first pursue what God wants in our lives, only then can we expect some of the things we’re hoping for in life. What is something you’re hoping for/expecting to come to you? How have you been pursuing God as you wait for it to happen?
